Lennon, Michigan History



Lennon is a small agricultural town located on the eastern border of Shiawassee County, (and Genesee County),on M-13 south of the junction of M-21.

It is supported by a huge grain elevator and some small businesses. It also functions as a commuter town for both the Saginaw and Flint areas.

Lennon was founded by Peter Lennon who was responsible for getting the Grand Trunk Railroad to run through here in the early 1880s.
