George Welte of Owosso was Chief of Police in the early 1900s. He also had a photographic studio and many of his pictures were donated to the Shiawassee County Historical Society.
Mrs. Cherry of Corunna is responsible for many of the early 1900s photos of Corunna, McCurdy Park and other sites along the Shiawassee River.
Dorr Day of Owosso had a photographic studio and produced many early photos of Owosso and since he was on the 1905 Championship Baseball Team, many pictures are available on this topic.
Lee Soule of Owosso, managed the Day Camera Shoppe for many years during the 1960s - 1980s. Lee took many photos throughout these years.
Richard Harsh Owosso artist, during the 1980s - 1990s, produced many pen and ink sketches of many Shiawassee County historic sites. Several of these buildings have now been demolished.
